Maged El-Kemary, Professor and a senior group leader at Institute of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt. He was nominated the President of Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt (from 2011 to 2019). He developed the University and established 13 New Faculties and Research Institutes as well as two medical hospitals and provided them with advanced Research facilities. Before that, he was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Science in 2010 and vice-Dean in 2009. He received his Ph.D. degree from Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany (1991). he joined the Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Tsukuba, Japan, University of Castilla-La Mancha, Toledo, Spain, Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN), Wako, Japan, Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany, and School of Material Science, University of Hyogo, Hyogo, Japan. He had secured several innovation awards and also research grants. His research interests are material science and sensors development
